History of the Watson’s and the Resort
It has been well over 100 years since J. Howard Watson first set foot on what would be Watson's Harverene Resort. It was a winter day on Feb. 8, 1892 when J. Howard Watson, a long time newspaper man, posted his claim on property located at First Creek.

The "only" place to stay at Lake Chelan if you are looking for a place to kick back and relax. Beautiful location without all the chaos of the bigger name resorts - yet everything you need is within easy reach. Wonderful staff and wonderfully maintained units and grounds.

Getting together as a family
We have many fond memories of our stays at Watson's but most important is our getting together as a family for a whole week to just have fun and relax and enjoy each other. We love the adults only time in the pool between 2:00PM and 4:00PM. Thanks.

The Watson’s Harverene Resort community has many events going on throughout the summer. From potlucks to socials and kid’s activities, you are certain to find something to enjoy. The Chelan valley also has many things happening and we’ve highlighted a few of those events on here too!
Mooring & Fuel
We have dock and buoy mooring, a boat launch, trailer storage, and boat gas all right here on site. So bring your boat and be ready for endless fun out on the lake.

Our mobile home tenants are more than just visitors, they're friends and family to us and to one another. We're very proud of the community that has built itself here over the decades.
